Punjab Cyber Cell has registered a case against an unknown person for spreading false information related to his educational qualification on social media against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Cyber Cell has written a letter to Twitter asking for all the account information of the accused person.
AAP leader Narendra Singh, a resident of Brahmin Majra village of Noorpur Bedi police station in district Ropar, told in the complaint that a few days back the post was posted through a Twitter handle. It was written on it that another act of a staunch honest party. In this, information was given about the educational qualification of Arvind Kejriwal. A fake document was also attached with this post.
It was written in it that the Chief Minister of Delhi did not take admission in IIT on the basis of merit but he studied through corporate quota. It also had a black and white photo of Kejriwal. Narendra Singh told that after seeing this post on social media, he got calls from many people. Cyber cell has registered a case under IPC sections 469, 419, 120-B and IT Act 2000 against unknown accused in this case.
