He has links with several pro-Khalistan organisations, including the Babbar Khalsa. Several criminal cases are registered against him. He is well versed in panth matters. Papalpreet has relations with many pro-Khalistan groups and leaders in the country and abroad. He has a good penetration in the media promoting Khalistan.
Was arrested for publishing the report of Babbar Khalas
Papalpreet was arrested by the police for publishing a report on Babbar Khalsa in a magazine named Shamshir-e-Dast. The police found his laptop from a well, which had all the records of the magazine. He has also been writing articles in support of terrorists for the pro-Khalistan magazine Fatehnama.
Papalpreet is very close to the leaders and workers of the three main groups of Dumdami Taksal. He has also been raising voice for the 1984 riot victims by forming the Sikh Youth Front. With the intervention of the UK wing of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), he was entrusted with the responsibility of Chief Organizer of the youth wing. After this he dissolved the Sikh Youth Front and merged it with SAD (Amritsar).
