In Weather Update many parts of the country, the rising temperature in the month of February itself is troubling the people. There will be no respite from this even in the coming days. The Meteorological Department told that in which parts of the country the temperature is going to rise. Along with this, the forecast of rain in some states has also been expressed in the western Himalayan region.
Temperature will increase by three to five degrees
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in northwest, central and eastern India is likely to be three to five degrees above normal in the next five days. Still, the maximum temperature in Northwest, Central and East India is three to five degrees above normal.
The department said that there is no possibility of any significant change in the maximum temperature over northwest India during the next 2 days. After this the temperature may increase by 2-3 degrees.
Temperature will rise in Gujarat too
The Meteorological Department said that there is no possibility of any significant change in the maximum temperature in Gujarat during the next three days. After this, the temperature will gradually increase by about 2 degrees. However, there is likely to be no significant change in maximum temperatures over rest of the country during next five days.
The department said that maximum temperature of 35 to 37 degrees is being recorded in most parts of Maharashtra, Telangana, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
Rain forecast in Northeast India
The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rains in Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, rain is likely at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Manipur.

The department informed that a fresh western disturbance may affect the western Himalayan region from February 25. Under its influence, light to moderate rainfall is likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during February 25 to 27.
