Samajwadi Party (SP) MLAs protest against the state government outside the state assembly in Lucknow ahead of the commencement of the assembly session. SP MLA has sat on dharna under the leadership of Shivpal Singh Yadav. The assembly marshal has asked the media to leave. Media is being stopped from coverage. Akhilesh Yadav has also reached the assembly. The SP MLAs are sitting on a dharna outside the assembly with placards. A large number of police forces are present.
In the midst of the Governor’s address, SP MLAs came to Val. The governor is raising slogans to go back. The Chief Minister said that the people of the state have elected and sent members to the country’s largest assembly with great confidence. It is the duty of all the members to live up to the public’s trust. Chief Minister Yogi said that the proceedings of the session have been fixed from February 20 to March 10. If any date seems important, we will think of discussing it on Saturday as well. Let us make this a forum for a good debate. He said that the budget will be presented in the House on February 22 for the 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh. After the discussion on the budget in both the houses, it will be passed.
On the other hand, SP President Akhilesh Yadav said that those who are not able to save the sapling planted in the Investor Summit, from where will they get the investment.
