During this, he handed over the papers of Rs 50 lakh transferred to the account as compensation to Sandeep’s father Santram Nishad. During this, the villagers of Gunner Sandeep’s village Bisaipur were present.
The SP said that Rs 50 lakh compensation amount has been given by the government. In this, Rs 10 lakh has been given for the maintenance of parents and Rs 40 lakh has been given to Reema, wife of Martyr Sandeep. All the documents of the accounts in which the funds have been transferred have been handed over to the relatives in the file.
The demand of the family was that there is no way to reach their house. On their demand, the work of making way has also started. Azamgarh SP had reached Bisaipur village two days ago also. Through his mobile, he had made Sandeep Nishad’s father talk to the DGP.
Childhood was spent in extreme poverty
Sandeep Nishad (26), a resident of Bisaipur village under Ahraula police station area of Azamgarh, was second among three brothers. He also has a sister. Sandeep’s childhood was spent in extreme poverty. Father Santram Nishad used to do farming. Only Sandeep in the family was in a government job. Joined the police in the year 2018 and Sandeep got married in 2021. They don’t even have children yet.
Relatives want to meet the Chief Minister
SP Anurag Arya, who reached Bisaipur on Thursday, said that Sandeep’s family did not have any accommodation of its own, for which the accommodation has been approved. Whatever the problems of the family, the government-administration is providing facilities to the family members at a quick pace. The family members want to meet the Chief Minister of the state, on which the captain has assured to convey their message to the government level.
road construction started
On the efforts of the district and tehsil administration, the construction of the road has also started to reach the house of martyr Gunner Sandeep Nishad on the cooperation, coordination and appeal of the administration. The land of about four families of the village will be used for road construction. The 200 meter road from PWD will be made about four to five meters wide.
Village head Shakti Singh told that two to two and a half meters of stone was already there. Which is now being increased by one meter from both sides. 200 meter road will be constructed from PWD. Further interlocking will be done till Sandeep’s house.
