Tension after murder of Bajrang Dal worker in Karimganj, Section 144 imposed

16-year-old worker killed with sharp weapon

Significantly, 16-year-old Sambhu Koiri was killed on Saturday evening in Lowairpua area, about 50 km from Karimganj. It is being told that he was attacked with a sharp weapon. The attack took place when Sambhu was returning from a three-day training camp of Bajrang Dal in neighboring Hailakandi district.

Sambhu, who was badly injured in the attack, was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, but doctors declared him brought dead.

Angry people surrounded the police station

On the other hand, angry people surrounded the police station due to this incident. People demanded the arrest of Sambhu’s killers and created a ruckus. Police has arrested an accused in the case. The accused is being questioned by the police. Special police force has also been deployed in the area.
