Officials of central security agencies say that most of the social media accounts promoting material like photos and videos of Amritpal’s activities are made with Punjabi names. This content is being broadcast in different regions of Punjab. Such content is being sent especially to the youth.
Among them, youth in the age group of 15 to 35 years are more. If any material against Amritpal is posted on social media, messages are sent threatening him and campaigning against that person. This account is also being operated from abroad. It is also being ascertained that how many of these accounts are fake.

Mercedes car is in the name of Haryana businessman
The Mercedes vehicle in which Amritpal reached Ajnala police station is registered in the name of a businessman from Gurugram (Haryana). On asking questions about the car, Amritpal had said that this car was gifted to him by a foreign devotee.
Amritpal, however, did not specify which foreigner had gifted him the vehicle registered in the name of a Gurugram-based businessman. Earlier he had said that the vehicle was gifted by the Sangat. The agencies are now also checking the log book of the vehicle.
