Punjab Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu reached the house of singer Sidhu Musewala at village Musa on Monday. Earlier, he had made a program to visit village Musa on Sunday itself, but due to some reasons this program was changed to Monday.
Sidhu remained in Patiala on Sunday. After meeting Musewala’s family, Sidhu will talk to the media.
Navjot Sidhu and Raja Wading were the ones who brought Sidhu Musewala to the Congress. He was also given the election ticket by the high command only on the advice of Sidhu. It was Navjot Sidhu who introduced Sidhu Musewala to Rahul Gandhi as well. Navjot Sidhu could not meet his family as he was in jail at the time of Sidhu Moosewala’s murder.
However, grief was expressed on Sidhu’s Twitter account. Meanwhile, Balkaur Singh, father of Sidhu Musewala, said on Sunday that he would campaign against the government during the Jalandhar bypolls.
