Faridkot: Bahibal Insaf Morcha blocked the National Highway

Bargari Seven years ago, the police opened fire on a peaceful dharna following the desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, in which two youths were killed. The struggle has been going on for a long time for the demand of justice in this firing and sacrilege case.

The National Highway was blocked indefinitely on Sunday in response to an ultimatum given by the long-standing Bahibal Insaaf Morcha demanding justice in the 2015 Bargari sacrilege and related Bahibal Kalan and Kotkapura shootings.

It is worth mentioning that seven years ago, the police opened fire on a peaceful dharna going on after the sacrilege of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Bargari, in which two youths were killed. The struggle has been going on for a long time for the demand of justice in this firing and sacrilege case. Bahibal Insaf Morcha was started by Sukhraj Singh Niyamiwala, son of Krishna Bhagwan Singh, who was killed in the firing on 16 December 2021, in collaboration with Sikh Sangat.

On completion of one year, it was announced to start the next struggle in Bahibal Kalan on 15 December 2022 and the highway was also blocked. On December 19, the jam was called off in view of the haze and inconvenience caused to the people. Although the front continued. The government was given time till February 5 by the front. But due to no satisfactory action in this regard, first the Sikh Sangat gathered on Sunday and then, starting the upcoming struggle, blocked the highway for an indefinite period.

During this, Sukhraj Singh Niyamiwala said that he has given long time to the governments and now he has no other option but to struggle. Now Sikh Sangat will not back down And the struggle will continue till justice is served.
