Don’t allow outsiders to impose CAA, NRC on you: Mamata at Meghalaya election rally

West Bengal Chief Ministe r Don’t and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee attacked the BJP at an election rally in Meghalaya. He said on Wednesday that his party would not allow people from outside to implement the CAA and NRC on the residents of the northeastern state.

During this, he also accused the Conrad Sangma government in the state of “not doing development work” in the state and being involved in a “scam”.

Banerjee said at an election rally in Meghalaya, don’t allow people coming from outside to impose CAA, NRC on you.

He said, “TMC can develop Meghalaya…change this government…there is nothing here. No medical college, no good health system for treatment, no development but scam.

During this, Mamta Banerjee also appealed to the people to vote for her party. West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee said, “Vote for TMC in Meghalaya, we will drive BJP out of Delhi.”

CAPF will be deployed for elections in Meghalaya

The Election Commission of India has deployed 119 companies of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) in Meghalaya for the smooth conduct of the assembly elections scheduled for February 27 in the state. Meghalaya Chief Electoral Officer FR Kharkongor told news agency ANI that in terms of law and order, we have 119 companies.

Meghalaya CEO said that we had 40 Don’t companies which were deployed earlier and another 79 companies were inducted after Tripura elections. There has been no law and order incident. Unfortunately a candidate from Sohyeong constituency passed away. We have sent information to the Election Commission.
