Capital Lucknow A video of K Hazratganj is going viral on social media. One can see in the video that a couple is kissing each other on a moving scooty. The girl is sitting on the lap of the young man facing back. The youth has been arrested in the case.
Action will be taken against the youth on charges of spreading the Motor Vehicle Act and obscenity. The video of the couple was made by the people following them and posted on social media. After the video went viral, the police swung into action and managed to trace the youth with the help of CCTV cameras.
According to the Lucknow Police, the name of the youth is Vicky Sharma (23). He has been taken into custody. A case has been registered against him under sections 294 and 279 of the IPC.
It is seen in the viral video that a young man and a woman are breaking traffic rules on a scooty near Hazratganj intersection. The girl sitting on the lap of a young man driving a scooty is seen kissing the young man. After the video went viral on Tuesday late evening, instructions were given from the Twitter handle of the UP Police to take legal action against the scooty-riding youth.
ADCP Traffic Ajay Kumar Singh had said Scooty’s number is being ascertained on the basis of viral video, footage of CCTV cameras installed at intersections. Necessary legal action will be taken after collecting information about both on the basis of scooty number.
