Bath of faith in Rajim: Devotees take a dip in Sangam on Magh Purnima

Donated a lamp in the bank of the river
On the auspicious occasion of Maghi Purnima, devotees started coming from every corner of the state including Achanal from Saturday itself. On Sunday, devotees blessed themselves by taking a dip in the Triveni Sangam from early morning. After bathing, women and girls made Shivling in the sand of the river and offered coconut, vine leaves, dhatura flower, milk and worshiped it. Also offered a lamp in the bank of the river. According to experts, Maghi Punni bath before sunrise has great importance.

Lord Shri Rajeev Lochan’s birthday is on the day of Maghi Purnima. On this occasion, a fair has been held on this holy land of Rajim for centuries. The birth anniversary of the Lord was celebrated with great fanfare in the temple premises with music and music. After worshiping the deity, a new red flag was offered on the urn of the temple. The temple of Lord Shri Rajeev Lochan has started shining on Magh Purnima. It has started shining with the light of electric skirting and bright light.

Chief Minister will inaugurate the fair near Lochan temple
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will formally inaugurate the Punni fair from the stage built near the Rajim Lochan temple at 7 pm. Dharmasva Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu will preside over the programme. During the fair, every day from 5.30 pm to 10 pm, there will be spectacular performances by renowned artists of Chhattisgarh.
