A car going from Uttarakhand to Deoria was hit by an unknown vehicle near Bajaj Chini Mill Gate on Balrampur-Utraula road on Friday night. Due to this, six people in the car have died. The relatives of the deceased have been informed about the accident.
It is said that Sonu Shah, a resident of Bankul village of Shrirampur police station in Deoria district, was going from Uttarakhand to Deoria by car with his family. On Friday night on Balrampur to Utraula road, when he reached near Bajaj Chini Mill Gate of Sridattaganj police station area, an unknown vehicle coming from the front hit him.
After this the hit vehicle fled. At the same time, the front part of the car was damaged. Six others of the family, including Sonu, who were in the car, died. When the police team returning from patrolling at night saw the damaged car, it was informed to the control room in a hurry.
The dead bodies have been removed and sent for postmortem. SO Vipul Pandey told that one has been identified. His family members have been informed. It is being told that all are members of the same family. Relatives are coming. After this the situation will be clear.
