Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday claimed that most of the CBI officers were not in favor of arresting Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, but had to arrest him due to political pressure. In a tweet, the Chief Minister said that CBI officials respect Sisodia and there is no evidence against him.

CBI could not answer in the court: Gopal Rai
Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Gopal Rai said that the CBI could not give an answer regarding the arrest of Manish Sisodia in the court. She just kept demanding remand. Court asked CBI that Manish Sisodia has been interrogated twice, yet why are you seeking remand? CBI had no answer to this.
He said that the CBI has arrested Manish Sisodia on the allegation of manipulating the excise policy, while the then Lt. Governor has given the final stamp on this policy.
